Just a line to say thank you for the training on Friday. I went feeling very daunted and came away feeling confident that "I can do this" Thanks again. Wakefield Council
The format of the website is clear and easy to read. It’s easy to log on and move between standards. I was very impressed with the provision and ease of altering the fonts, colours etc. and thought this was very helpful for someone with dyslexia. Overall I found the questions easy to understand and the display is nice and clear for answering questions and moving to the next one. The results page is very clear and allows the candidate to discuss the incomplete answers with their supervisor. The feedback following the assessments is extremely well laid out and provides a great reference point to go back to during supervision. Berkshire.
Having a team of 18 staff, I wanted to have two staff members try it out who had different levels of ability with computers. Both staff members found it easy to navigate and stimulating to use. It gave a theme to their visit and even making deliberate mistakes gave us food for thought and encouraged debate. Brilliant tool for training! Thanks. Wakefield Council
Hi, Just a brief note to comment on the CIS induction training which I attended last week. I think the program for carers is excellent. As always with the introduction of new information there is a good deal of anxiety involved and when carers are dealing with challenges and time restraints, any additional expectations can sometimes feel like a bridge too far! However, the simplicity of the assessment and the way in which it has been designed really does make it incredibly user friendly which will hopefully start us all off on the right foot. The relaxed nature of the training delivery was also very well suited to carers. Many thanks. Sally Bull, Senior Practitioner, Leicester City Council.
Very user friendly and easy to access at anytime from any PC. Have found it an immensely useful tool for annual appraisal, for appraising current knowledge and identifying gaps. Online assessments are a way forward for our current staff, as cost is making some training very restrictive. These are good quality professional assessment processes. Thanks for a great training session today. I was so impressed with your product and the way in which you presented it… It’s brilliant!!! It’s so clear that so much thought and enthusiasm has been put into the development. I can’t wait to put it into operation. Angela, Cornwall
I just wanted to let you know that I believe the CIS Assessment tool is fantastic. I have done all 6 assessments myself and have tasked my management team to do the same. Once this is complete we will roll down to all team leaders and then to all new and existing staff. The tool provides a great objective measure of understanding and comprehension of the induction standards and will provoke a great deal of debate in the organisation (of this I am sure from my own experience in striving for 6 x 100% results!). Please pass on my thanks to those who took the funding decision. It will be very helpful for us and our clients. Stephen Mills, Managing Director, DoCare Limited’s. This endorsement reflects well on our decision to purchase the tool for Gloucestershire and is excellent feedback for Alex as well as us. Angela Willis, Workforce Commissioning and Partnerships Manager, Gloucestershire County Council

I think the package is very good, very interesting and motivating and most importantly - easy to use. Can see this being extremely useful during supervision and appraisal. Jean Rossiter, Senior Worker, Bridge Centre
I have been trying to develop an induction program for the new starters within our team. This is the answer!! The training today was very clear and I love the tool. Carmel Hilton, PCT.
Fully met intended objectives. Excellent briefing. Well presented. Easy to understand how to apply in practice – whole system approach. Sandra Hutchinson, WFD Officer, St Helen’s Council

Reasons for scores: Very informative, will assist with staff training. Interesting, useful learning tool for staff training and for recruitment of new staff. Very good course. The session was informative whilst enjoyable and gave very useful information and advice. Alex gave a good presentation and was able to guide us through using the assessment tool. Will benefit when doing my job. The system is very easy to access – very simple and straight forward. Lots of help was given. Made it a pleasant experience. All had the chance to take part and had to think about things. Found it easy to use. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. The programme is so easy to navigate round. Very patient facilitator. Great understanding gained and will be highly useful within the service.
Thank you so much for agreeing to speak at the Seminar yesterday. The Innovation in Home Care Session was a success and your presentation was a new idea and gave the delegates a fresh concept of how training can be assessed and the knowledge base of each worker established. Your enthusiasm came through with a positive message. Thank you again Alex, two little words but very sincerely given. Maggie Uttley MBE, President, Ceretas
Skill for Care Berkshire Conference
I would like to offer my sincerest thanks for your magnificent contribution to our conference last week.
You were able to provide delegates with a very informative, innovative and interesting workshop.
Without exception, all of those who attended your sessions were either satisfied or very satisfied with the high quality of your presentation and the clarity of the information that you imparted to them. Many commented on the extent of your knowledge and your ability as a presenter.
Overall, it was a workshop which enlightened, informed and inspired those who attended.
You undoubtedly achieved the outcomes which we were hoping for, which was to give delegates an insight into the assessment process and many of them have committed themselves to signing up with you. I will pass the delegate details to you as promised.
The committee feel that the conference was extremely successful and I would like to thank you again for the part you so admirably played in helping to achieve this.
With best wishes

West Berkshire Council have been using CIS Assessments for several years and have been very pleased with their service.
Staff at CIS are helpful, approachable and listen to the views of their customers, involving them in the design of their products.
CIS are responsive and update their products to meet the changing needs of their Social Care customers.
Staff at WBC undertake a variety of appropriate CIS assessments at interview, induction and as part of the refresher programme. This provides managers with the necessary information to plan learning to build on staffs’ knowledge. This means that learning can be tailored to staffs’ needs both providing value for money and a structured approach to learning and development. Pam Jobson, Learning and Development Coordinator
